If you recognize the burglar, please let the police know! Anyway, WHY does he pull uphisshirt at 3:38? I think this is international whatever for "Don't bother me, I am a stupid criminal that thinks you can't see me!"

The stupidity of criminals has always been law enforcements biggest weapon.

I thought he pulled up his shirt around his face to block out more of the outside light so he could see through the window to the inside, where it's darker.

HUH! MOST people use their arms, etc... Had there been NO cameras, etc.... he STILL stood a good chance of being caught, with the constant trespass, peeping, and noise. Where I live, a person would likely have noticed, and confronted the guy. Of course, most of the time, nobody knows if I am here or nt. One guy recently said he didn't know I was here for the last 3 months. And I can literally see behind me much of the time, and can see both sides of the street in front of my home when I am in back of my home. Odd how the bevels in the front door glass, and the smoked glass in my entertainment center work!

I think "robbers" have always been pretty dumb. That's why we call them robbers.

Just to clarify, I never said robbers weren't dumb. Their whole EXISTENCE is based on LITERALLY taking other people's accomplishments! It could be argued that even SLAVERY was more sane, because at least THEY were more open, and planned the means. But HERE, someone just comes out from nowhere, and says "I don't care about the circumstance. Maybe you NEED it! Maybe you worked your entire life for it. Maybe it is a prototype that only YOU know anything about. Maybe it needs to be used in a certain way. Maybe I don't even know what it is. Maybe I will sell it to a pawn shop that, not knowing it is worth a billion dollars, figures it is worth $1000, and gives me $300 for it. Maybe I am dying of cancer, and this is the prototype for vaccine that is one step away from working. NOPE! I don't care about ANY of that! All I care about is that I think I can get it, and I want it because it looks nice, OTHERS have it, or I figure I can get praise or some money for it."

Anyway, any such person is dumb. And I don't condone slavery either, I simply used the term for comparison. In a decent society, a person is supposed to develop the means to either openly bargain for desired goods, and get them based on a mutually beneficial agreement, or to develop and/or refine and/or maintain them. And world economies don't work properly unless you have a decent combination of them.

Several years ago, when we lived in Santa Clarita, California, a would be "bank robber" thought he'd hit upon the perfect solution for a get-away vehicle - a bicycle.

He could park it right outside the door of the bank then ride away, whipping down streets, around corners and even along public footpaths where cars would be unable to follow him.

Did his clever plan work? No. While he was inside the bank carrying out the robbery, someone stole his bike. When he emerged there was no sign of it . . .

He should have put a chain lock on it or something?
