Wow, what a PGA Championship. One of the more dramatic ones I have seen in a few years.

I did not care much for McIlroy a couple of years ago when he won his first Major.

At that time he was pretty much saying he was taking over Tiger as the best.

I felt it was a little premature.

But the last month or so he sure seems to be correct in what he said a couple of years ago.

A heck of a player.

Not sure he will get 14 Majors but he has a solid chance.

I still will NOT underestimate Woods, like many did before last year.

It seems like when people doubt him he comes right back to put it in their face.

Rory is the man! He has won 4 majors in just a bit over 3 years and that puts him in very select company! Jack seems to think he's the real deal and we all know Jack is still the king with 18 Majors and 2 US Amateurs.

"I think Rory has an opportunity to win 15 or 20 majors or whatever he wants to do if he wants to keep playing," Nicklaus said in an interview with ESPN's "Mike and Mike" show on Wednesday morning. "But you just don't know what the guy's priorities are going to be in life 10 years from now."
It's my personal opinion that Tiger's best days may be well behind him and I think it will be a big challenge for him to regain the form that won him all those majors. While he did finish 2nd in the FedEx Cup and at the top of the money list last year, he has not won a major since 2008.

I believe Tiger's swing and the injuries have caught up to him. While I think Tiger probably will still compete at the highest level on occasion, staying healthy has become a very big problem for him. If he can't stay healthy it's very difficult for him to get into the rhythm that he needs to be in to compete on Saturday and Sunday in the majors.

Tiger is a beast and you can never count him out (at least not quite yet) but I think the new kids on the block are going to be tough for him to beat in the big ones.

The action at Valhalla was exciting today, no doubt, and while Ricky Fowler did not win it, that young gun finished 5,2,2 and 3 in the majors this year --> and he did it while getting comfortable with a new swing. Wow. Even though Tiger has not been on the prowl in the majors lately --> the future of golf is quite bright with a bunch of young stars and an old guy we know as Lefty swinging the sticks.

I was one of those people that for several years was betting that Tiger would beat Jack's major total, but this past year or four has made me change my tune and I now think catching Jack may be a pretty big stretch.

    Cheers

I dont know but there is something about Ricky Fowler that is engaging.

He seems to have a tremendous amount of Charisma. More so than Rory and even Tiger imho.

I do like the way Rory seems to handle himself. Not too flamboyant and not too caught up in himself.

I love watching Tiger win these past 17 years but the GD and f-bombs after every shot is just a bit much to be honest
