This woman's really hungry. Anyone willing to take the challenge and beat her record?

I love steak and I would actually give it a try but not in any time limit and probably not again for as long as I live.

I certainly would not want to take that lady out for a meal though. Doesn't even use a knife and fork.

Reminded me of the Walking Dead really.

See, that's where you have an advantage. You can tell that almost immediately upon meeting each other.

            If I'm lucky.

Oh, wait....I get it now. You mean because we will make each other gag...because I make people gag....

I love a woman who has an appetite. Using a knife and fork would only slow her down. I believe she is truly hungry for the win.

Fair play Rick, just saying my type of woman needs to be slightly more a reserved when out for a meal. I don't want to attract attention when she asks for the entire leg of a cow then attacks it like a zombie.

You on the other hand are welcome to her.

I am joking too, how she does that is beyond me.

I could eat that much crab or lobster - but that fast seems to be a waste since you are stuffing yourself without getting to savor the flavor. Never did understand eating contest mentality. I understand all you can eat seafood with a word to the server to just keep it coming til we say "stop", though.

Eating contest rules apply. You get to eat it free within the time record. yeah, right. You don't get to savor the slab of meat, but you do get the bragging rights. Your name on the wall and recognition. "Oh, look, there she comes... it's the maneater!"

I really don't understand the draw of the eating contests. No matter what it is, you are going to be pretty sick afterwards. How that misery can possibly compare to bragging rights just doesn't add up to any kind of common sense. The contests with the hot dogs have to be flirting with death from a huge overdose of salt.

Here's a video where she ate TWO complete 72 oz steaks and all the sides at the "Big Texan" in Amarillo, Texas. I've driven by there dozens of times, but never stopped. This is hardcore!

It's weird if you want to taste the food. I think she's more of a competitor eater. That's maybe why she takes lots of little bites.

I can't see how someone would actually enjoy this.

Bragging rights. About the time that I had to resort to stuffing myself like a sausage skin to get bragging rights is about the time that I'd be seriously considering why my life is so vapid.

I wish they would have banned me about 10 years ago. Sheesh. :-(

If true, I could see why.

I don't see how she stays so skinny. I wonder if she's using a stool softener? I know that's gross, but seriously. I would NOT want to be constipated with 144 oz of beef and a couple fat baked potatoes trying to find the exit.

I would think that there's a balumic (sp?) method to dealing with this sort of over-eating. If she does this often it's the only way her digestive tract hasn't been destroyed yet. The human gut isn't fashioned for digesting high quantities of meat protein.

Oops! I meant 144 oz, not 144 lbs. LOL

Back in my younger days i completed the 1 hour challenge at my local Pub:

    48 oz Steak
    1 Large baked potato
    And a 2L Draft beer

I think i did it with about 5 min to spare.
Doing what she did in 3min, no way, not even when i was at the top of my game...

Gluttony is gluttony....I don't care if it's steak, lobster, or salad.

Eating too much, is eating too much....and 5 lbs of salad is too much.

Too much for whom? It wouldn't be too much for a cow or an elephant. How about eating 5 pounds of bamboo leaves? Too much?! Gluttony for you, a human, yes, but not too much for a panda bear.

One of the benefits of eating at home. I make my own organic dressings with healthy oils - make my own mayo, too - it's not hard to make at all and tastes better made with organic eggs and omega oils. Salad is extreme health food if you do the dressings right.
