An influence I'll never soon forget. RIP Robin Williams

Having difficult time grasping this myself. Reading news headlines as I am writing this. We have truly lost a great comedian and speaker.

I brought happiness to my childhood so many times. With the voice of Genie from Aladdin to Mrs. Doubtfire, and you name it. He was hilarious, and despite the difficulties he have went through recently. I'll remember him the way I did growing up.

July 21, 1951 (age 63 years).. Not very old..

Heck, I recall taking some of his quotes and talking about them.

Sorry to bring this bad news, but I want to take the time to recall some of his great moments. Lets remember him for the great influence and inspiration he has provided.

Here are some quotes I really like by Robin Williams to remember him by

    why is it the people so good or gifted at making others happy have a hard time staying happy themselves ..

    i know what fighting depression is like ..and i know what it is like to tie something around your throat wanting it to end ..but i had the little voice to stop me from finishing ..

    it is sad ..i don't want to think about it ..

    when you can't make yourself happy ..sometime it doesn't matter how many others you bring joy to

      there is a difference when it is a long term conic condition ..than what most everyone will go through ..

      at times you just get worn out from fighting .. and if there is no hope left .. no fight left .

      i only got that bad taking meds and i will never touch them again .. and part of why i have been broke my entire life up to know ..was so i didn't have the ability to self medicate .

      but law of attraction wise long befor my dianoses most of the people i connected with where in this state ..

      the only time anger is a positive emotion to have ..is when grasping on to anger is preventing someone from slipping into depression ..

      so if you know someone dealing with this state ..and they go from depression to being angry at everything ..let them vent the anger and get them to where they heel a bit disappointing and frustrated ..because if you make them feel bad or guilty for being angry ..you just push them back into depression

      Yup. As the old saying goes, everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing of. Really sad about this also.

      No over-analyzing going on here.

      As long as we concentrate on the positive qualities he brought to the world, and there are several, we can easily emphasize his strengths rather than pointing to his end.

      I think we can safely say though that heaven just became one man funnier.

        its sad. people are even saying hes not going to heaven because hes committed suicide. its a pyschological matter, hes not himself when he killed himself right? anyway, i love mrs doubtfire. hes one of the best actors ive loved in my entire life. he makes me laugh and cry esp in bicentennial man. oh how i love that movie. it still makes me cry.

    to acutually over analyze ..and make this more than just about his suicide ..

    typically famous males who asphyxiate themselves tend to get classified as accidental suicides from auto erotic axphiation .. weather it is true or not .

    when a famous person commits suicide there are a number of people going through hard times who will follow suit .. that is why suicide is not talked about much in the media

    so if you know someone with cronic depression..and they are effected by this news ..pay attention to them ..

      I personally like Mrs Doubtfire the most and how inspirational he was to that family as well as being crazy funny. He had the unique skill of combining comedy with inspirational messages.

    When I think of Robin Williams I think of the movie where he has this clown nose. Where he is giving some smiles on patience face in the movie, he was a pre med I think, I'm not sure.

    Robin Williams impacted the lives of many and he will be remembered for all the joy and laughter he brought to many families. I was really looking forward to a possible Doubtfire 2 that was in the works, but I'm glad I was able to see the original, which is one of my favorite movies from my childhood.

    There are TWO ways to read this! The old OBVIOUS way doesn't make sense, since WHY would one want to do everything wrong? Who cares who was right if the world is obliterated.

    The other way is contrived, and dumb, but may be the idea he had in mind.

    Maybe he simply wanted to have a quote that would confuse all equally so ALL can be literally considered right, by one persons views. This also MUST be what his intent was since he could use almost untouched words for left and right. I could EASILY rewrite this, by simply replacing two words, to be understandable in either fashion by ALL people. I WOULD do that here, but THAT might be considered "political"!
