    I'll start:

    We had 4 cats. Two of them passed away, and we had to give the other two away when my wife got pregnant, but we LOVED them to death.



    Klakier would always run and climb on my chair right when I was going to sit down. He was a brave one!

      Seriously, you gave away your cats when your wife got pregnant??? Did you not realize that getting a pet is a lifetime commitment or did your wife develop a medical condition that prohibited her from being around cats?

        I agree with that. Adopting a cat or any pet is a lifetime commitment. You can not really love it during adoption and then decide it is not for you.

        Both dogs and cats are living creatures. So I can not say which is better. They are both animals just like us, so we need to take care of them and protect them as much as we can.

    I am a big dog and cat lover and this year 2 of our 5 great cats passed away. Between them they had been a part of our family for almost 25 years.

    These two are gone now...

    These two are great pets and both of them love lounging on my desk while I am working. The black one is a great friend and since his brother passed away he has become one of the finest cats I have ever owned. He insists on being a people cat and he acts more like I am his brother than his keeper. The Himalayan is his father and we have had the Himmy since he was a kitten. He's a big lover cat and is the old man of the family now that Leo is gone.

    Mr. Izbister was my wife's favorite cat and he was both beautiful and an awesome friend. Super Duper was as a fun a cat as you could have and unfortunately death snatched him away from us far to early.
