    I shot a video segment with Billy at E.R.A. back 2002 or 2003. Great guy, super nice and extremely friendly to the MANY fawning fans and people who nervously approached him.

    You mighta been there that year your own self, sir.

    I sent a note to his son via Twitter this AM when the news first broke. I really feel for the kid (lost my own Dad unexpectedly a couple of years ago).

      Yea Brian, I was.

      Sully did a video that year (2003) that played in our hotel rooms showcasing all the pitchfolks. It was cool. He did a rant on Billy being the only ERA guru with his own bobble-head doll. It was priceless.

      It's funny, when MJ and FF passed I had little to no reaction. Today when I learned Billy died it really touched a nerve. I guess it's because of my proximity to that industry.

      We lost one of the really great ones today. He'll be missed.
