1000th Post Anxiety - Never has a post meant so much.

So what most don't know is that Cathy was a quite a post count groupie, this forum was her first and only and as it also created our lively hood it meant a lot to her. She actually stressed a lot about her 1000th post.

Now I have had a few warriorforum requests I have had to fullfill but these have been personal ones. This is the biggie for me as it meant a lot to her and I have actually been really careful to post as knew we were very close, I think she made it to 980 something.

And I think in a way its gonna be closure for me so I need help here I have been thinking about the post for a few days now and thought if maybe you guys can help. Write your most useful thoughts on making money online so this post can be something of value I can't do it on my own. Or maybe those of you who knew her if she taught you anything that is valuable in Online pursuits ...

Here is all I have so far

My dear wife who’s account this was (again thanks to the mods who allowed me to keep it) used to be very active on here, and as she was approaching the 1000 post mark would sit for hours and discuss what could she say for her 1000th post to help other ad value and thank the forum.
Well unfortunately she never made it to 1000 post, and that task has been left up to me, and I have been very hesitant to post anything on here as I still had no idea what to say that would do justice to an incredible person and her journey.

Positivity a key to success:
Many people find themselves looking online to make money due to unfortunate events like losing a job, or in our case a terminal illness meaning we could no longer work a traditional 8-5 job. Cathy was the poster girl of positivity I never once heard her ask “why me?” or “if only?”. Dwelling on the past is the ultimate exercise in futility if it is not done as a way to learn and better ones self.
Within the realm of trying to make money online this becomes more and more apparent as the ever changing online environment has a way handing out massive negative blows. Recent Google changes have devastated peoples businesses almost overnight. The ability to take negativity and learn from it and continue rather than having it beat you will go a long way to creating a successful business. As one starts with online marketing there can be many disheartening things happen. The smallest victories need to be given your full attention and the failures you should learn from and move on.

I think your post is beautiful the way it is!

You don't have to add any more than that if you don't want to.

And I have a feeling that Cathy is smiling down upon you this very moment for what you have written and are doing.

You know, it's knowing Cathy was such a stand-up woman that inspires me. Our paths crossed every so often and we became friends here. She always had something good to say. I never knew she was sick until very near the end.

I wish some of the people who come here and want everything handed to them could take just a single drop of her courage and her wisdom and make it part of them. In fact, why stop there? I wish everyone living could internalize her strength and courage. The world would be way better off.

First off - I didn't know she passed, and my sincere condolences are with you. Strength and peace to you and yours.

Secondly -- I think you completely nailed it all on your own. Post that post - then close her account and move forward with your own account. It is a beautiful piece to have to commemorate her.

If that is how you find strength, peace, and inspiration, then I would be a fool to argue. Perhaps there is a touch of her in you that will help guide you to good things. Still - the post, I think, really gives us a view of who she was. She was an awesome person. You are so fortunate to have been able to share her life.

Alfred just speak from your heart because ultimately I think that's what Cathy would have wanted. Anything less would not have been as honest. That had to mean more to her than all the "how to make money" posts in the world.

When the time comes, you'll know what to do.

I never had the pleasure of knowing Cathy and I am sure that having known her would have been just that - a total pleasure.

I am saddened by your loss but uplifted and inspired by your desire to continue to help others in the name of her memory. She shall live on, forever by your act of unselfish generosity.

            Sincerely - Frank

    Alfred,

I understand the sentiment of wanting to post something really helpful, but I think Cathy brought a deeper lesson to the forum than money-making. Money-making can be taught from a book, but her positive attitude and pleasant disposition were valuable contributions that demonstrated the deeper lesson that there are more valuable things in life than money.

When I think of her it's always about who she was, not what she did. I think that's the best tribute one could have.

I never thought of Cathy as the Making Money Online gal. I thought of her as one of the nicest people on the Warrior Forum. I'm sure she was here for business, but the overriding feeling most got from Cathy was kindness and warmth. Just post from your heart. I know she would approve.
