Didn't ebay ban this a long time ago? (selling digital download (only) stuff)...

OFF TOPIC

I thought they banned that several years ago.

I know you can offer a digital download AND (with) a real-life physical version (CD / DVD).

But I just saw a listing for some software that flat-out says -- this is for a digital download ONLY.

Any thoughts?

A simple Google search of "ebay digital downloads" . . . and top of the results is:

ebay - Digitally delivered goods policy

I suppose you never thought of that.

I can do without the snide remarks. But thanks.

So, yes, I was right -- this person is violating the TOS.
He's selling software that he didn't create, and doesn't own the rights to,
AND he's doing it in a regular auction format (not "Everything else > Classified ads" section).
