Of course, they wouldn't pay attention. They're busy texting! If driving while texting is a problem enough, how do you deal with slow walkers on pedestrian lanes?

    I walk into them quite hard and say "Ooooh I am sorry I was on my phone. Oh look, so are you. Never mind, all the best".

    Right. Texting cud chewers walk right out in moving traffic - you need rails for them to bump against to keep them in a "lane".

    I saw a video of a guy that bumped into someone while texting, knocking bags to the ground, ripping them open, his stuff was rolling all over..................so he grabbed the guy's cellphone and threw it on the ground and started stomping on it. Call me twisted - but I kinda like that response.

      Texting guy shouldn't get angry for the broken phone, he's lucky that's all he got. If it were me that he inconvenienced, I would have gone through the violent route.

    I've lost count of the number of times when I've been standing still and some dipshit texting away has walked into me and then said "Watch where you're going".

    I just give them a look that says move along lest extreme violence be unleashed upon your person. I get the impression that they didn't notice this and they've carried on their way, in their own little world.

      They just don't get the same stigma as to those people who smokes in designated smoking booths. Here's hoping technology does something for them "text-walkers."
