Hi guys,

I'm new here. Off late I've been hooken on to this whole internet marketing world. I'm using a blog to test my SEO skills (developed based on everything I read and watch online) and to be blunt, I want to make money online.

It's so intimidating, looking at the clickbank offers, pay per call marketing, monetizing my blog... I really don't know where to start

Anyway, hope you guys can help me out and that I can contribute eventually

Cheers,
Venkat

Hi, and welcome, and before someone else says it, other sections of this forum are better suited to your question!

But since others have asked, l should give you a hint!

I asked the same question about 4.5 years ago, and got the usual response, as well as some wisecracks, (as l said, the OT is more for fun stuff).

The usual response, is, being online does have serious potential over a real store, but just like a real store, there are no shortcuts!

Or buying a product that promises untold wealth is a cliche, and being scammed, is unfortunately a real possibility.

About 13% can make a blog or site, profitable over time, but most can't, and the holy grail of being successful with IM, is getting past the barrier of not enough targeted traffic!

I have been online for about 6.5 years so far, with not much to show for it!

True, l created a WSO WP product that made over $1000, but most of that went to affiliates.

And had other spectacular successes, and failures, but kept going!

At the moment l am staying with Graphicriver and Fiverr, since both get paid traffic to their hub sites.

So one of the big barriers is gone, but they have their own brick walls to scale.

Becoming successful online, or in general isn't that hard to do, just keep going regardless, of what or who, trys to stop you; and especially keep going when you have a big failure.

If you keep going, you will be better off, long term!

And intimately, through trial and error, etc you will find something that works!

Most online stuff, doens't work, and only about 2% does, otherwise, most of the population would be making an income online.

But when you find something that is one of those 2% gems, then your life can change in a noteworthy way!

    Good luck!
