My laptop died last night... forced on to a tablet.

My laptop died last night. I am tied up today, Thursday so it will be Friday before I get it into the shop. probably Monday or Tuesday before I get it back.

I am using the voice to text feature on the tablet. a little weird, some sentences don't start with a capital letter.

I am going to see how much of my business I can run from the tablet. I may have to visit my sister for a little bit.

did I tell you that Gmail, LastPass, Dropbox and the cloud can be your friend?

  • What happened to it? Hard drive failure? Windows not booting? Motherboard dead?

    • I think I cooked the motherboard. it wouldn't turn on this morning. Checked it out no beeps no error codes no nothing.

      if it costs more than $200 to get it fixed, I'll just get another one.

      I'm kind of excited to see how my life will be on the tablet.

  • Haha, looks like you are having yourself some fun. Makes me want a tablet. I've played around with them before, but have never tried the voice to text feature. On second thought, I imagine it's fairly similar to my phone.
  • Take one tablet and call me in the morning? Used to be a line for only doctors.

    • I hope you fix your laptop soon. Voice command in tablet is awful. I only got headache when I used it.
