sending same email to multiple addresses

Will some email filters see my email as spam if I'm BCC'ing the same email to 20 different businesses at the same time?

I'm assuming you are sending the emails out to businesses to see if they are interested in how you can help them?

If so, it doesn't even matter whether your email will be picked up as spam or not.

Think about what the business owners are going to think when they see another 20 emails in the BCC?

It's going to kill your response rate and any legitimacy you may have.

Use mail merge to do your mailings individually.

Well, in the email I specifically say that I sent it to other competitors - it was to sell a hot domain name with 5400 exact match KW searches per month in their niche.

Plus, with BCC they can't see the other emailed parties. Blind Carbon Copy.

You could always create a couple of accounts and test how it might filter. I don't know for sure if it would affect things, probably will get picked up and directed to Junk folders.

Why not just do it right using a bulk send system?

I know, but I was just testing the waters this time. I will possibly use a bulk send next time, but I see the consensus elsewhere says most emails get either junked or deleted-sans-read.

I have some great domains, I just need to get creative on how to pitch them to businesses.

A good portion won't get sent to junk or deleted if done correctly.

        That's not doing it correctly.
