Anyone know of any offline marketing strategies for college students?

Say you were selling college students on stuff they need after they graduate, how would go about doing it?

You can distribute your pamphlets during their exam time. You should get the date schedule of the final year students and should campaign on that schedules.

    Hope this will be helpful.

Do you have any personal experience with this idea you have? I don't know if you realize it but most US schools will not just let people in to "distribute pamphlets" on their property

I am going to put 2 and 2 together and assume you are looking at doing Resume services? if this were the case I would start now and work my way into the social lives of your targets. IE Facebook, and twitter. Take the time now and become one of them, mingle with them.. share, but DONT SELL.

Slowly introduce the ideas and concepts you are trying to get across and with a bit of time and patience, you will get work from your target crowd

Where I am the graduation ceremonies are very well orchestrated with selected suppliers allowed to promote material to graduates. You've got the traditional photography booth type operators, degree framers, corporates, banks etc.

In my experience most graduates just want to go on holiday.

I work in closely with my local government marketing dept who have a International graduates ceremony usually after the Uni type graduation. They are always trying to get content into the hands of these students of which the majority will be leaving the country within the first few days or weeks after graduation.

    They also do welcoming ceremonies.

In these instances we work on easily branded light-weight packable awards and other materials to try to get them to take the city's brand back with them.

We leverage photo ops with Mayor, we leverage polaroid type cut-outs with twitter messages or Instagram messages printed on the cut-out.

Don't want to give too much away but you've got to look at shared content and putting your brand out there as desirable to share.

Do they want the stuff they need? Do you need to "teach them that they want it"?
