offline marketing mastermind/networking group?

The road of entrepreneurship is lonely for young entrepreneurs like myself. Most of my friends don't know anything about internet marketing or business. I'm looking for possibly joining a mastermind group of like-minded entrepreneurs. No pitching or selling anything. Just talking and supporting and hold each other accountable. We can tell each other our goals and deadline dates for those goals and every week we could tell each other what actions we took to move forward to make that goal a reality.

Any existing mastermind groups like this?

    You are asking about any networking groups that you can get involved with, however, you say in this thread that you're attending your first one. So, which is it?

      P.S. You might want to take a page from your handle, im2park, and Park your business until you are clearer on what you're searching for!
      In his previous thread I think he was talking about a local networking event where businesses meet, swap business cards - something akin to a local chamber of commerce after hours event.

      I'm looking for mastermind/accountability group. Where we talk about what we're doing, what actions we're taking to reach our goals and hold each other accountable. And it has to be filled with offline marketers like me. Most of the networking groups are just traditional business owners like lawyers and plumbers. I want to have a skype group with marketers and fellow warrior forum members

      First off, I've been a member here since 2008 and have NEVER started a thread asking for advice / information ---- just chimed in with input that I garnered from this Forum! With that said, I've given tons of advice / direction (definitely the opposite from your accusation of being a bully)!

        Have you considered going to a nearby chamber of commerce event and invite business owners there to start such a group?

        Or seeing if your nearby chamber of commerce already has one?

    You're correct about it being lonely but you will find lots of groups of likeminded people exist. The most common is fellow entrepreneurs - reach out and most will be willing to help. There's also organizations locally, nationally and internationally that can help.

    The web is a good place to start - sites like this one, Hacker News, Reddit are all great communities.

      I would be interested in a group like this where we meet online (skype or something similar). I was just thinking along those lines a few weeks ago.

      Just getting into the offline niche/market myself, it would be interesting to talk, share ideas & goals with POSITIVE like minded people/marketers as well.

      I will keep an eye on this thread and see how it develops.
