Won a large client, what would you do next?

If you had just won an international, well known brand what would you do next?

I was a freelancer, then begun to win larger clients and I was then invited to submit a business proposal for a large international company. I realised to submit a proposal I needed to found a company which I did and then I won the client.

However, for the past 6 months I have been freelancing and working from Asia, but now I have won this client it makes me wonder if I should consider living a digital nomad life or not...

Why?

Well, if I choose to move back to London and focus on growing my company I could potentially have a very successful and profitable business in the future.

Damn it's hard to write all this down without going too far and boring you guys...I am only 25 and have a goal of hitting £1 million by the time I am 30, but I am worried whether moving back to London is really the right choice for me.

Does the international company require a London presence? if not, can
you find an 'associate' in London and let them know you're 'multi-national' ?

I am going to say that 1 client is probably not enough to make changes. Location at this point is apparently not an issue? If you can land one client where you are at, there is obviously the potential to land more. Its not location that lands clients, its your apparent skill.

I think Sir Branson runs a lot of businesses and lives all over the world.

What does living in Asia vs London have to do with your marketing career? Being an internet marketer, you can do your job from wherever you are in the world. Keep your career decisions separate from your life (personal) decisions.

They don't require a London presence - however it would strengthen my relationship with the client and give me further access to other departments within the company, as well as using their brand to promote my agency to other companies.

Yeah, your right the location isn't an issue right now. Again, your right...just in most cases large clients want to meet face to face during the pitching process as well as bi-weekly or monthly meetings.

Yes, sure I can do my job but a lot of large brands want to meet the agency they are employing face to face for monthly meetings, quarterly reviews e.t.c

The real question is how do you want to live your life.
Is the potential reward worth committing to living in a certain place and having face to face meetings on a regular basis? Do you enjoy that? If so go for it, if not find a different way.
