Day Spa Marketing: A Free Way To Get The Best Customers

This is a way to reach, give product demonstrations and have the most influential women in you community
become your customers and fans.

All for free.

Here's how you do it.

1 Define which product treatment you have that gives the
biggest and fastest transformation in looks.

2 Have the product maker rep give
a demonstration.

3 Many product makers have advertising budgets set aside for
their retail clients so ask if they
will put money towards this event.

4 Invite a food caterer to serve up finger food to your event.
Ask who are the influential women in their community they
would like to showcase their food to. Get their list.

5 Invite a wine merchant to serve up
wine at your event. Ask who are the influential women they
would like to showcase their wine to. Get their list.

6 Post a invitation card to the list of all the women of influence derived
from yourself and the 2 co-hosts.

7 Follow up by phone to confirm attendance.

The cost of the invitation cards and mailing is spread between the co-hosts and your skin care maker.
If the skin care maker won't*pay for the mailing, then get the 2 co-hosts
to cover it. Failing that, you pay a third of it.

The benefit to your co-hosts is they also want to showcase what they have
to their list and 2 other lists of influential women.

They get more reach at a lower cost than if they did it alone.

There you have it, a free or low cost way to have the best people become
your customers and fans who in turn
can influence others to try you and your co-hosts.

Best,
Doctor E. Vile

Ever tried something similar to this one?

Because on paper it looks easy, but in reality, it won't be that easy!

I'm unable to lay my hands on that campaign at the moment,
      so going by memory.

Doberman Dan put out a training a while ago which was how you could
set this type of thing up with jewellers and agree to a commission
of everything sold at the event.

He and Gary Halbert would do them for fast cash.

Yeah, this is like hitting three birds with one stone. But for it to happen, all three must be perfectly aligned. You would be doing like a showcase fair of different shops. There could be a huge mix up on who gets more of the attention. There are also possibilities of one co-host's list not getting more than 50% attendees, would they still be willing to cover their third of the cost? You really can't ask them to split the cost if their targets aren't in the event, right?

I got my start in marketing as a top sales rep, traveling, to day spas and salons....I sold Microdermabrasion machines when they were expensive and "hot", and other machines and stuff

My company would send me to the salons to train staff for a day or so and stay for a grand opening, do demos....everything you said is true

I got into marketing through this - as the company sales became less profitable I began marketing for salons and spas, so it is something I do know bit about

The only thing I would add is - for some areas, and clientele, the wine cheese, mini facials and raffles are a great gals night out but they will still only come back in for a haircut or whatever LOL
In a good area, with the right crowd...or reach out to a NEW crowd, it can be great

      Jewelers....and....Plastic Surgeons

Now....you do not want to hook up with PS who has his own spa....you want one who is a surgeon and a "shooter" (fillers, botox) ....have him come in with his gals and raffle a botox

You can cross promote - do botox parties,

another good source is - those "party" women, they will pay for a small booth or area to sell their jewelry, purses, vitamins etc

It is also good to hook a day spa up with similar but non compete biz - a salon that is cuts and colors ONLY (no facials, no massage).....a boutique....a weight loss clinic
