Google My Business Update Anyone else noticing this?

I noticed that if you add a city to a keyword search no pack pulls up but if you do a keyword search with no city you get pack results, Anyone else noticing this?

For whatever reason today they are jumping all over. Pack results one hour, organic listings the next, people moving spots left and right. This is for a dozen or so keywords across two cities. Very odd how the packs are appearing and disappearing so quickly.

  Actually, it's been some 3 months since it happened the 1st time. Pretty much across the board lately, though in the beginning it was only for mortgage keywords.
  
  That, the disappearing of the 7 pack, is boosting my sites to top positions (Yes, I know Google counts the 7 pack as 1, so, in Google's eyes, I'm going up only 1 spot when there's no 7-pack, but in real life, it's a hell-of-a-traffic-increase to go from #8 to #2, for instance.

For about an hour today it was doing it for every industry and location but is back to normal now.

  Don't feel like the lone ranger! Tons of us have been discussing at the Local Search Forum, on Twitter and at the Local Search Pros Google+ Community.
  
  Since yesterday people have been reporting missing packs, but today it blew up and for a couple hours almost everyone was missing local results. Some were seeing them off and on.
  
  I emailed my contacts at Google about an hour ago to see what happened and right after that, local came back. YAY (But some are still reporting flaky off/on results.)

It's always getting crazier and crazier, I can see why you say they are on drugs lol and now with the android robot peeing on @pple which resulted in the shut down of mapmaker seems to be causing even crazier things to happen
