can anybody recommend a lead generation training?

i want to learn how to generate leads for local businesses.
I always thought it would be an easier sale if you have leads already to sell to local businesses.
anyways i searched the WSO section but everything is old from about 3-4 yrs ago..

any suggestion would be much appreciated.

  • you will never be successful as long as you looking for trainings.. Sales is not like becoming a doctor that you gotta get trained and read stuff. you just have to do it and these are all excuses not to do it now.
    don't be part of this fake world bro where you see people making 100k+ monthly and landing offline clients for 2000$ every day still selling cheap shortcuts to newbies for 9$ a pop

    • Bravo !! So true! The ones that really make me laugh are the "done for you" nonsense

      It is also interesting to peek at "old" wso threads...to see the point at which the "guru" leaves the building, no longer answers questions or gives support...

      you can go to jvzoo and click bank and look at "plans" from 6 months to 1 year and you see some of the landing pages go to the "domain for sale" holding zone LOL

      There is another good thread here about lead generation : how the employees who answer the phones, the salespeople sent on the "leads" ...can affect the success of the leads you send. It is not as easy as the people leading the "seminars' or selling their "mentorship" might have you to believe IMHO

  • Come on folks. Let's not beat people up for coming to a great forum, to ask for help. He is looking for direction. And, contrary to the belief of some, if you pay for information, it can save you years testing, system building, process creation, etc.

    You can find a quality WSO every so often. I don't recommend one for this, but that's besides the point.

    Bro, tell us a little more about what you're trying to do specifically so that we can point you in the right direction. There are some great posts by MRomeo, Shockwave & Cageyvet depending on what you're trying to accomplish. Either do a search or post back here with more info. Likely, everything that you need to know has been posted here for free.

  • Hey, Just read your post and this is an area I have been working on. Finally found the most effective training relating to offline business's to use and not overwhelming online stuff..
    Webinars and getting their websites generating leads through sales funnels is the most effective step I know.
