Marketing a MMO Clickbank product offline?

HI all


I am looking to deploy the old fashioned offline marketing tactic of distributing door-to-door (and anywhere else I can like on traffic sign post and car side windows) small postcard size leaflets.


Will be marketing a generic Make Money from home/Online product that appeals to wide general audience, probably chosen from Clickbank or JVZoo. It will have to be general 'all weather' make money product rather then one that narrows down the money making method to one particular direction such as Facebook.


So I am just checking with any of you guys, especially those who have done such offline marketing, what kind of conversions to expect - is 1% ok or too optimistic i.e distributing 1000 flyers and getting 10 sales.

    Face it - the market for that sort of "Product" (or should I say non product) is found on
    "make muny" boards and forums.

    The cost of printing and distributing would negate any sales you MIGHT make

    Non targeted, just a shot in the dark, wish and hope plan like this is bound to fail

    Hey if your "money maker" book is so great, why don't YOU follow the plan and rake in the bucks? Why do you want to sell it to others any how?

    JMO - if you do make sales I bet you get a lot of returns..."offline" random people won't be thrilled with poorly done pdf.

    There is a huge untapped market offline. Those people who know nothing of these forums, but would like to earn some extra money working from home.

    However, Clickbank is not the way to go. You need to build a local reputation as an expert... or borrow someone else's... Then offer a top quality physical product. e.g. a DVD set. Digital downloads won't be trusted.

    Reaching the market will cost you time or money, perhaps both.

    Don't try and do it on the cheap.

    Your best bet would probably be to come up with your own product.

    Seriously, it does not take much to get a solid product written and produced.

    Also, printing costs are not going to cost you an arm and a leg.

    I would suggest that you focus on either door-to-door sales or focus on business to business offline marketing.

    You can try an outsourced call center to push your product.

    There is no exact direct fit between typical online marketing techniques and cold calling.

    In this particular situation, the closest would be to have the outsourced call center qualify your leads by offering to e-mail them a free report.

    If they are the right kind of leads, get a second call set up to sell the actual book or course.

    I am sure you can pull this off and it is not as black and white as some people would like to think it is, but it will definitely take quite a bit of work and tweaking to pull off.

    It can be done. But try hiring few hot females and give them dating flyers with your site in it. If you are in some town with university they can go there or in bars, pubs, etc.. Think outside of the box.. Everyone will check that site because nice lady approached them.
