Mobile Renegade - Email Quality

The program is excellent. It pulls tons of emails, more than any other scraper I've had. It's also been working for years, it's not vaporware like some other products I've purchased in the past.

Of course like any other scraper there are spam traps, you definitely should go through your emails and make sure there aren't any funny emails in there.

It doesn't only pull the YellowPages emails, it goes out and pulls emails from other places also. You have to be careful with any scraper you use. Clean your list as best you can before mailing.

Brush up on your MS Excel skills because you will need a way to clean and filter the results you get. Its a good idea to setup a master list or spreadsheet that you can check against so you are not sending out duplicate emails (Its annoying to people).

You will also need to purchase proxies to run on.

@ James, you don't have to buy proxies. There's proxy professor that will scrape proxies, de dupe, and google test them. It would be a fortune to buy the number of proxies you'd have to buy. I usually go through 100,000+ proxies when running a query.

As far as MR, it's a great program for getting unlimited number of emails. I always scrub the emails I scrape through a service like Sift Logic. It's not to expensive and the safe way to go...especially if you're running the emails through MC or something similar.

Bottom line, it's an inexpensive way to get unlimited emails by industry.

Hi - I have been using mobile renegade for a few years
now after spending excess $$$ for other 'glitch filled'
scrapers. I scrape a daily 5-10k emails efficiently
for my B2B business and depend largely on this email function
because my response rate is so high (hitting the inbox with accurate data nicely!)
My bad emails has been very low (like in low single digit %)

I just got off a Skype support with Richard (owner / developer) and he asked me to comment on this thead if I felt it was appropriate. I rarely comment on WF, but because of my experince in the last couple of weeks, I'm compelled to share my thoughts.

I purchased MR back in November but did not start really using it until a couple of weeks ago - In part because i had a couple of basic questions about the software, right after purchase, and was not getting responses. As it turns out Richard's partner had some health issues and a lot fell through the cracks. I went on to invested in just about every scraper you can think of, and eventually gave up. Many (not all) work to some degree. The key is timely updating (as directories like YP and Google change all the time), and support. A couple of weeks ago I decided to take another shot at email markering, and decdied to dust off MR and give it a go. In that time I have found the support to be well above and beyond what I expected. Richard it patient and always open to ideas and input on how he can make the software better. I'm SO glad I came back to MR. And after trying all of the other scraper options, I can confidently tell you that MR is a very good investment.

I have used MobileRenegade for several years.
The software is incredibly powerful - and can produce amazing results.
Even more importantly, Rick and ken have done an exceptional job of supporting the large MR user community.

MobileRenegade is easy to get started with.
If you are just looking for a few hundred or a few thousand contact records, you will have no problems.

Some of the users in the MR community are leveraging the MR software (i.e. "system") to build huge lists - Although the software itself is fully capable of supporting such "industrial strength" use, the unavoidable fact is that if you want to extract tens of thousands of lead records daily, you may have to learn some of the more advanced features and "tricks" - such as using proxies.

I rarely recommend anysoftware - But, Rick and Ken and the MobileRenegade team have surpassed my expectations...over and over again.

I highly recommend MobileRenegade and wholeheartedly endorse Rick and Ken.
They are TOTAL, 100%+ "Stand Up" guys.

Any issues with scraping UK YP etc?

Almost as good as sending to your clients.

By that I mean:

I recently send the same message (and title) the same day at the same time to 2 lists of real estate agents for the same company.

List 1, scraped, had 16% undeliverable and 21.6% open rate, 2 unsusbscribed.

List 2, a list of the client's clients that he's put together (agents that have worked with him in the past 8 months), 22.9% open rate, 1 unsubscribed, 2% undelivrable.

List 1 had 3 times as many addresses than list 1.

Anyone using the mailer to successfully mail out - i'm struggling and not many sharing how they deliver emails in the Skype group.

I am currently on extended leave in Japan, going to stay in the Philippines for a few months so I get my visa updated.. anyway.. mobile renegade is one of the best tools bar none, for a professional salesperson such as myself. I don't work for any one company, but more like a gunslinger or mercenary for hire. I don't personally email, but I aways need qualified, high quality data. I bought MR because I was sick of doing everything manually in Excel.. after a few years of cold calling an individual agent can have a database that rivals the quality of most marketing companies.. and MR solved this perfectly.

I'd recommend any independent business owner to purchase MR.
