Best resller hosting providers?

In the early stages of starting up a web agency, im currently using Godaddy to host my personal site. Im looking to move away from Godaddy for obvious reasons.

I have heard a lot of good things about Hostgators reseller plans but iv been reading that they have been taken over by a not-so-ideal company.

Just wondering what is currently viewed as the top 3 companies for reseller hosting.


P.S - As I am in the UK will it make a noticeable difference to my clients page load speeds if I go with an american data centre?

    First off, you should look for reviews before getting a hosting plan from hostgator. You'll find they're not your best first choice! Or second, or third, for that matter!
    Now, if you're in the UK, you should probably look for an UK based host, however that's not mandatory, there are plenty of web hosting companies that offer a great service to people located in other parts of the world.

    Thanks for the replys,

    Had a long talk with one of the RS support staff, talked me through everything, they offer some really nice aftercare services along with a good price. Decided to go with them.

    Once you get opinions here, you may want to check out Web Hosting Talk - The largest, most influential web hosting community on the Internet which is kind of the premier destination to talk all things hosting before you make your final decision.

    I use StableHost and am happy. I've heard good things about VeeroTech. The owner is active here (Kingfish85) and as soon as I get ready for Phase 2 of something I'm working on I'm going to try them based on the recommendation of someone I've come to respect and trust. They have both UK and US based datacenters.
