I just put up an opt in page for locals to subscribe to a SMS service where they will receive text message coupons to local restaurants as well as enter to win monthly gift cards to local restaurants.

What is the best way to drive traffic to it? I'm thinking FB ads to start, but any other ideas?

Here is the site by the way if you want to check it out: http://www.bendmobiledeals.com/

Thanks!

    Niche down.

You can always build more sites/landing pages for different topics eg. restaurants, oil change/tire shops, groceries, etc.

Right now it's too vague. You aren't appealing to anyone specific and so it connects with nobody.

You're looking for consumers who _______? What?

Fix this and then you'll get better ideas on how to attract traffic.

You know what? My niche is restaurants! How did I forget to mention that on the darn sign up page. Thank you for pointing that out.

Niche down even more. If it's Italian restaurants then make the background of your optin page look like a cozy Italian Bistro and tailor the coupon so that it's appropriate for that particular page.

If I'm calling Italian restaurants then i would want to demo a page that looks and feels like something they'll easily relate to.

      Make it easy for them.

To be honest, that page of yours is simply hideous. I wouldn't want to submit.my cell number into it.

My concern wouldn't be that the biz owners wouldn't like it (although that's probably going to happen with the way it is designed). My concern is that THEIR customers wouldn't want to optin into it and then you'd be stuck trying to explain why you aren't generating any business for them.

I would focus on targeting a niche market and audience.
For example, restaurants has been mentioned but what about the general audience?

I would recommend targeting college towns where the consumer is a bit more budget conscious and looking for deals.
