Home improvement and solar. But theres another big step after the customer agrees to buy leads from you that will make or break your business. Client retention is the main problem of lead gen companies and mainly because they skip this simple step. PM me and ill tell you what im talking about. or don't and youll find out soon enough. goodluck.

Hi, I find the college financial planning arena and burial insurance (believe it or not) are pretty lucrative! Both of these are geared for life insurance agents, and believe me, you can charge $35 per lead for EXCLUSIVE insurance leads. If you end up doing this, I'm an insurance agent in Nevada (can only sell to Nevada) for now, and can't get enough leads. So let me know....I could be your first client! Contact me if you need more help.

I have 3 criteria when going after an industry:

    - They MUST be able to make more than $2,000 per client/sale
    - They MUST be an industry which is sales familiar. An industry where they're more likely to have good sales systems and processes.
    - They MUST understand what a lead is, what their conversion rate is, what their LTV is and what their goals are. But if it's an industry unfamiliar with leads, then you've got to educate them too much.

I don't think this is a relevant question. My background makes it easy for mea to do well in areas where your background makes it hard for you to do well in and vice versa.

What interests you? What do you know something about already?

Everybody's going to tell you to pick industries where people make a lot of money per sale. And there's a good reason behind it.

    However,

I pay you $1000 and you bring me 1 sale at $10,000

    or

I pay you $1,000 and you bring me 500 sales at $50 each

also needs to be considered and the profit margin, too.

McDonalds makes a lot of money with products under $10.

Ferrari makes a lot of money with products in the tens and hundreds of thousands.

A mortgage broker that closes 100 deals a month grosses $500,000 but has the same profit as a real estate appraiser that does 1,677 appraisals a month.

Which one should you bring leads to? That depends on how many leads you can bring a mortgage broker and how many you can bring an appraisal.

If you look at it only as how much can I make per 1 lead, the mortgage broker wins. But what if you appeal more to people who're looking for appraisers and can bring 25 leads for every 1 mortgage lead you can bring?

Lead generation can be pretty simple in most industries if you understand the audience.

Currently doing stupid numbers for :
    wedding related industries
    car sales
    regional snack boxes
    car tyres
and obviously digital marketing services for myself (traffic audits, CRO, paid traffic strategies)

The steps in a super simplified nutshell are:

    1. Choose a traffic source that can access your audince
    2. Put something they are interested in, in front of their face
    3. Use a call to action to move them towards where you make money
    4. A/B test the shit out of everything to maximise conversions
    5. Use retargeting and email marketing to plug holes in your sales funnel and upsell them

Join my private strategy group on Facebook or find out how I made £2000 recurring in 2 weeks.
