99 bux. Beats the heck out of 495.00 0r 250 even to reach 10,000 homes.

Just wondering, if, or how many are using Art's strategy?

We do a lot of discussion here on selling advertising. His method seems to be one which has withstood the test of time.

I think his Hometown paper has legs. Especially, if you can write Advertorial copy.

    Yeah, Art's been around for a while. His system is tested and works.
    And he's right. Once you get the right group of advertisers, they stay
    with you. They know what works and what doesn't for their business.

    You don't have to educate them.

      He's been around for a long time. I'm considering a variation on his Hometown news.

      Successful Home Based Business Model

      It is old school, in that it is Bulk Mail, not EDDM...or paper insert. But, he gets advertisers with his penny a house pitch.

      I've written some advertorials, which would be close to what he shows...I'm thinking of a twist, on the advertorials, and wondered if anyone is currently doing the Hometown Press.

    I was watching Art Gottlieb's video on that site... up until he farts at 5:23 in. He farts while he knows he's on video. Crazy. But that probably explains why he has so much newsprint on hand.
