Google+ Question

I've stumbled across some local Google+ pages lately that are full of content, i.e. photos, urls, business descriptions, etc., BUT I can still see the 'Is this your business?' box with a button that says 'Manage this page'.

It's understanding that this page HAS NOT been claimed as long as you find that on the page.

If that's the case, how did the Google+ page get updated with all of that information about the business, the photos, urls, etc.? It really looks like someone did some work to the page, but it doesn't appear to be claimed.

Here's an example: https://plus.google.com/105140564730350436420/about

Thanks in advance for your input!

  • It may have been an inactive listing. Google has required reverification for old listings, this was probably one of them.
  • Google+ is similar to Facebook, only it is developed by Google. So, all the information in Google+ might from the Google database itself.
