Real Estate lead gen through postcards......

Is anyone doing a good Real Estate lead gen post card for listings. The classic "Whats my (area) house worth?" or a newer version of this style of lead gen on a mass mailing to an area doing eddm?

Id love to see some rock solid examples of this as I yet have seen a good lead gen cleverly used., then applied to direct mail ...

thanks!

I'll be sending out 4800 cards for a realtor client via eddm. Remains to be seen if it can be called "good" until the results are in of course. I'm also split testing it with facebook lead ads, will be interesting to see the results..

Im doing DM to distressed homeowners in attempt to buy their house below market value.

Here in Phoenix, response rate is 0.5-0.8%.

Im on this forum to educate myself on other marketing avenues to take to generate qualified distressed homeowner leads. However DM does work for us.

I've done these for clients in the past. The Brokers often spoke highly of the value they were getting from ..at the very least...having their name out there on the front end of peoples minds....increasing the likely hood that they would be the go-to person they called when the time came.

In reality that is a great value to any business that uses EDDM to stay in front of the eyeballs of the consumer.

With the Brokers and EDDM, there is ample space on the card to not only include the spotlight listing, but also elements that show other aspects of the broker...testimonials obviously...tips and tricks etc. ...in other words, substance beyond mere name recognition.

Brokers ( and any business really) do not want people to "go searching for" a broker..they want to position themselves as the predetermined name that's going to be called.

In fact...one could argue that if they DO have to go looking...well your probably not doing a good job of marketing yourself.

I'd put something on the card - IF the agent can truthfully say it - that says they are
the premier agent for the area and have a waiting list of buyers (or sellers) for that area.

My Dad worked with one such agent and she could sell homes at the desired listing price
significantly faster than any other agent. The 60 or 90 day contract with my brother as agent
expired and this woman had Dad's house sold in less than a week.

You need to position the agent properly and convey how it will benefit the prospect to work with that
    agent.
