Here's a new service you can offer local realestate

It's making these videos with your drone.

Someone here is paying out $100 a pop for these. Not to say you couldn't/shouldn't charge more.

Don't forget about the FSBO's! They're also really useful for people that just want an aerial shot of their home/property for their personal keepsake, or insurance reasons. They can get a closer shot than a plane.

I remember a guy around my area doing them. I think it's a great business, but you have to get approved from the FAA and some other things if you're going to use your drones as a business. But, once you get the insurance and what ever FAA requires it's definitely a great business idea.

Yep, new rules for drones are just the beginning.

As the skies get more crowded, expect even more rules and regs as to who. what, when, where
will be allowed to use them.

I foresee this as a huge moneymaker for the regulators

Drones in the future will be much smaller, more nimble...and quiet.

There are already insect sized models.

You won't know they are there, unless you have a device that detects their presence.

It's Spy vs Spy, in the real world.

One of the rules here in Oz is that if you are going to be using one for business of Real Estate and you must notify the houses next door and If any one says no that's it, Plus there are also some major hoops to jump through almost to extant of having a pilots licence.
