Please Review My Business Owner Training Portal

I'm going to be relaunching the IMTC and added a section for business owners that want to learn Internet/Social Media Marketing.

I'm looking for feedback on the website in general. I know its not quite ready for launch but figured I would toss it out here to the wolves....LOL...

Please be nice....but I am really open to all feedback. Thanks Warriors!!!!

I'm tired right now so I'll give it another gander later. These are all personal preferences so don't take them too seriously.

For starters, it looks professional. Big issue (for me) right now is my eye is not lead anywhere specific. That's the problem with these multi-column layouts designers are so fond of at present.

The text font is a little light for me.

There's no stand-out thing that says, "Click me! Pick ME!! Get started HERE!" and the button you do have is below the fold.

I wonder if something should be on the laptop monitor...an IM-related image?

IMO it needs an injection of your personality.

    lol @ wolves.

Is it just me or is your banner picture pixelated?

Go on here https://www.dollarphotoclub.com/ and choose any picture you want. Ill download and PM it to you...I have plenty of downloads that I have accrued and I am not using.

Too little information about what you're teaching - At least show a summary of what each module teaches.
Too little information about you - What experience do you have?
No guarantee - need I say more :-)
Testimonials are too sugary, like they've been bought - I don't care if people are in love with you, I want to know what impact your course has had on them.
Videos don't display in my browser. In any case, I don't like videos that play automatically.
I second Jason, you need to inject a little personality...

I think it looks clean, and I like that it isn't overly cluttered.

The font is too light, as others have pointed out. It is hard to read.

The wording is awkward in places. For instance, on your "About" page, the headline is Career Choice For 2016!!! Become Local Business blah blah blah. It just sounds like half sentences and doesn't flow to me.

Additionally, the random capitalization of words always looks awkward. 60+ videos that will fast track on internet and social media marketing to business owners has random capitalization and is worded like a non-native speaker wrote it.

Also, the "About" page has very little "about" to it. It is just another promotion for the courses without much meat to it. I also hate third person writing. I want to work with you, and I want to get to know you, not here about you from an unknown third person. Write as yourself. Tell me why you're awesome and how that awesomeness is going to rub off on me if I work with you. So like others have said, an injection of your personality will go a long way in influencing others to join your course. Right now it feels very sterile to me.

Just my 2 cents as a guy that is admittedly no expert. Heck, I may even be your target market more than another guy on here that knows his stuff. So, what I have to say is more from the perspective of a prospect than another consultant.

All of these things, and likely what others have said, are what would keep me from spending money on a course. If I don't like what leads up to the course and think that it is easy to understand then I'll have little hope that spending my hard earned cash is going to prove any more fruitful. I want to know that I'm going to get clear direction from the course in a way that is easily consumed and understood.

My mind is just saying 'click here to get started' what?

Good point, the Get Started takes them to a video explaining what they get.
      Thanks for the input.

Just another view point, and low stress on it.

Where you have that line "Click here to get started" I also agree with helisell, and some like "click here to learn more" might be more inviting to click over a get started before knowing what I am doing.

It may be just me and I know in a way it is covered but who exactly is the course for, in that the internet marketing centre ? IMC from memory helped people set a business up online and termed it internet marketing, and this seems to aimed at people who want to build a business looking after the the online marketing for established business and or business owners who want to expand their online marketing and it may be better to clearly state who this is for.

Edit, I see the about page covers this a little but just found this and was the last thing I found and probably would not have seen it it if i was just visiting, would have been long gone / after watching the start of the second video

Also the video states there is a video on the other side, so give me your email ? again what does the video give me ? yes I also see it is written to the side, but like the who is it for question the what's next video I find my self searching, it sort of does not flow natural / without digging, if that is such a thing.

Edit, I can see in the menu that I can access the second video without giving up my email, would much prefer if they could view the second video with out jumping through the email loop.

Edit Edit, that second video is also confusing, in that it talks about again internet marketing a bit like the old IMC and not from a perspective of somebody creating a offline business to help other established business so it leaves everything confused a little on exactly what I would be learning. The biggest debbie downer is I heard at the very start 2013, I thought I was just a blooper then shortly after that I heard it again, so at that point I just shut that video down, as it seemed to be old / outdated and looked to be something just mashed in to do the job if that a term and was not current or topic specific / so for me I would walk away from this training at this point and click away.

I also cant see what is in the courses when I do learn to click more, I do see start learning and start learning, ad that there are 60 courses ? but again I am searching for what am I learning, and because of that not sure if I want to take that leap of faith and just may be because it is cloudy for better words it may be easier to click away that follow a path of excitement to happy town.

Edit, can see if I hover over courses some idea of what they are but still searching for more info so maybe some bullet points on that video page on what people will get with a sprinkling of call to actions may work

Not a fan of big discounts in pricing, top people don play that hard on discounts as they know they are worth the money and it can be off putting to see people offer garage sale pricing. Also again with the products I am asking exactly what am I getting here for my money, yes I can read a little text here does not inspire me to hand out 2K and find myself searching for more information.

Testimonials need pictures to that blank faces / plus maybe some video testimonials with the words written below as you have now, there is no privacy page ? needed when taking people info / emails and there should be a link under give me email to the privacy page.

your products on a blog page seem a little funny, not sure why they are not on a stand alone page, or the comments are not turned of, ? just looks like a cheap hack of a site that is not configured properly. maybe it is supposed to be like that ?

Maybe that's just me? but I do wish you well with your new site.

Im kinda familiar with the theme you are using.. and I am wondering why you took away the conversion bar below the primary hero image?

For me, this themes CTA buttons are a bit lacking... the look more like text in colored boxes than it does a button.

At the very least I would suggest looking in to a more contrasting CTA color.. currently is just kind of blends overall.. kinda sorta the same color as the logo and other elements of the site, like the title solid bars in the footer.

Testimonials: add pictures if you can

Front page: dont know why, but I dont find that picture of yours to fit there. Where ?! Maybe to put it under "About" post you have on front page..
+ widget (Pages) is to big ( you loose that professional look )

It's just my opinion, dont take it wrong, in hope this helps you,

Very good, I have pictures of all my testimonials.

Yeah...I just added my face to the home page. The course is my creation and wanted to make that clear.

The header is okay but there is a lot of problem with the footer site navigation should be on the top only. Remove it from the footer or make it small. Footer is not much prominent. No call to action button or thing.
