      I agree. They read like something you could get out of a book of standardized answers to objections, written by someone who has never used them to make sales.

      Terrible answers to objections. I hope nobody actually tries any of these.

      But yeah, I've read sales scripts from the 1970s, with answers to objections like this.

      This last one is maybe the "best" of the litter.

      I don’t have time today

      “I agree that we are running low on time here. You’ve invested a lot of time into this. Time on research, travel, thinking and now with me. You told me this was exactly what you wanted today. You are out of time. And I think we can both agree you’ve already spent lots of time. Since you’re out of time, let’s wrap this up now and you’ll never have to worry about the time dealing with this problem again.”

      But the middle part is just repeating nonsense, that the prospect hasn't agreed to. Still, it has the seed of a technique that could work.

      A better version might be;

      "I agree. You shouldn't have to spend any more time on this. if you let me take care of the details, you can rest easy, knowing this is taken care of. Would you like that?"

      It would only work if the customer was already at the tipping point, but the original answer would actually kill the sale.

    Have you ever lost a sale because the person was too afraid to make a decision? Some people you literally have to drag them over the finish line.

    They are really poor examples of objection handling it's not even up to the same level as 'feel felt found'.

    What I've found is that this type of objection handling can be 'successful' with lower priced items and a product that has no follow up or further contact. If you are hoping for repeat buys, upsells or retainer style deals I'd stay away.
