how to make an extra $200 or more per week

so I have been playing around with this little trick for about 3 weeks now, and I know it won't make you rich but you can for sure make some extra money by just replying to some emails from Craigslist.

maybe this is nothing new but anyways what I did was I signed up for an account on ifttt.com and then I went under my username it says "create" then click on the big letters that say "THIS" on the search bar just type "craigslist" then click on it then it will give you a box where you can put a link...

for that go on craiglist on your area, and go under all gigs and type a keyword.. for example I typed logo then I hit search..
once you do that copy the link on the address bar and paste it back on ifttt.com
once you do that click on the big letter that say "THAT"
now what you do is type the words "Gmail" and click on it when you find it, and the click on send an email

this is the final step. all you do now is input the email that you want the notifications sent to, and then hit create.

now every time someone post an ad on that specific location with the keywords "Logo" on it you will get an email notifications with the link to that ad, which of course you can reply to and try to get that sale.

I was doing logos, graphic designs etc. I would get a bunch of emails all day long because I had done this with a few cities around my area. my best week I made $435 and the worst one I had was $190 but that was because I was lazy to reply to those emails..

warning it does get annoying if you do this with a few cities, and depending on the keywords that you use you will get a bunch of emails..

but if you think outside the box you can make good money doing this. I hope I didn't confuse anyone I felt like I didn't do a very good job explaining, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I stopped applying this technique because I have been focusing a little more on getting my business started and so far in the last week and half I have gotten a few offline clients. since I am having better success with that I stopped but I think I will get back to doing this. an extra $400 doesn't hurt anyone, specially since I wasn't doing none of the work.

Cool little idea.. this could also be scaled up.

I've always liked Craigslist, even though it's been on a rough decline the past couple years.

The for sale section is still pretty busy, posting your services in the business for sale section gets eyeballs from people you want, less competition too.

I also used to go to yard sales and flip stuff on Craigslist, easy way to make an extra couple hundred a week.

Yeah sure can be scaled up.
I am actually going to start using it for the free section too.
I once playing around got a small office desk for free and I just sanded it down and painted it with a spray cans and listed it on the for sale section and got $60 for it. it only cost me about $4 to buy the paint..

I was also only selling small gigs.. you could use keywords such as websites or SEO. if you think outside the box and just apply some time, I can definitely see someone averaging $500-$1000 easily.

That is quite a nifty little idea to be sure. I assume you were outsourcing the logos to Fiverr. How much were you charging on CL in the difference if you don't mind me asking?

yes I was using fiver. and the price would vary because a lot of times the ad itself said the price they were willing to pay. there was a ton of competition with logos though so if they put $100 I would tell them I could do it for like $50 or so.. the cheapest one I did was $35 so I kept $30.. not bad for just exchanging a few emails

Not bad at all in fact for a quick email exchange. Its a very interesting take on Fiverr arbitrage in terms of the approach. Thanks for the share again

Currently this is a very flooded procedure. Tried things like Arbitrage Underdog and Ad Tracker. Most of the result did not work. Very few people asking for logos in most areas on a regular basis right now.

Tried the posting of ads. All i got were people offering me jobs, like housecleaning.

Yes i also the IFTT also had maybe I didnt do it right, but never got any responses to it. Getting back into it bu tlooking to stay OFF of CL.

    just my experience.

yeah there were days where I wouldn't really get many responses from logos but the technique works you just have to think outside the box and use good keywords. I mean everyone goes after logos.. I got a job and the guy was telling me he got about 100 responses from people who were applying for the gig, he actually said some guy from the phillipines replies to him lol.. so the competition is obviously really high...

obviously is not something that will make you enough money to quit your job but an extra money doesn't hurt anyone, I know it helped me out a lot.

Please I need to know, If I reply to different ads using same material via same email, will my email address be permanently blocked by c-list? Because lately my replies have not been going through.

I am not sure, I mean I was working this method for a few weeks and Craiglist never blocked my account

There are a couple of good ways to earn $200 a week.In my opinion if you have a particular skill you can do it performing that skill on Fiverr. You can also perform tasks for individuals on any of the Outsourcing networks such Odesk which is now called Upwork.Freelancer,Elance..
