Ideas to name Sales Representative of a Homeschool/Christian school book publisher

In marketing department we are trying to re-name the Sales Representative of our Homeschool/Christian school publisher. The goal to change the name is to bring closer connection between us and people who attend convention booth. The job of the sale reps. is to counseling Moms (B2C), advising schools (B2B), and helping them to make a wise purchase decision. I already thought some of the words like counsellor, advisor, Consultants, ...

    In our industry, we call our sales reps "Client Managers". If I were in your industry, "Homeschool Advisor" would have a nice ring. "Counselor" just isn't a good representation for selling. "Consultant" would immediately mean they are selling and not what folks want to talk to. An "advisor" is best because it means they are only advising and not selling (even though they are). Advisors can sell by educating and giving the client options to buy. That's my kind of selling. Btw, our kids are also home-schooled.

    The proper term for what you're trying to convey is: Education Specialist.

    However, you will need to check with the states you plan to be active in to see if that designation is a "legal" one reserved for credentialed / licensed professionals.

    If so, simply adding one of the aforementioned terms would provide scope and fall within acceptable usage - as always, in such cases, confirm with legal experts in your state.

    You may want to think along the lines of: "Christian Education Specialist", "Homeschool Education Specialist" or even "Christian Homeschooling Education Specialist".
