Help Me Fix This Puzzle..Get Through Small Business Owners

Hello Warriors,

Dollar earning business is highly sort after right now in the my country due to a fall in value of our local currency.

I remember stumbling on a thread by John Durham years ago where he reported setting up website for small businesses that do not have website.

I will like to do same because I am pretty good with wordpress site set up and I also have access to directory where I can get a good amount of phone numbers for offline business owners across any niche.

My problem here is that I am not based in the US but Nigeria. I tried to find the emails of these offline businesses but nothing seems to be working.

Does this mean I should just go on with cold calling the numbers? I am much more comfortable with emails.

Does anyone know away around this? What will you advice?

Thanks.

It's great to have ideas and goals, the problem is that eventually you must become a doer and not so much a dreamer.

Stick with the church idea first, give it a full 30 days of hard work.

Make a wordpress mock-up of an affiliate website and show them what you can do,

Not only can you set up an affiliate shopping portal there, you can also begin a preferred vendors list with different services that are provided by the members and the local community and charge them a fee to be list on the church website.

If you have a problem seeking the church leaders, pursue others that have already gained their trust.

If they have a person in charge of fundraising, approach them as well.

If your church has a newsletter, run some ads there, now you have become a customer of the church and will be seen in a different light, as opposed to a vendor cold calling them.

And guess what, if the church doesn't have a newsletter, offer to start one for them for free, and then charge others to advertise in it.

Do well by the church, and future business will flow your way.

Thanks so much. I am not actually a dreamer but I get your point though. I have a source of income but just looking for ways to pull in more money.

I felt the site set up might be easier to start as the church idea proposed could take a lot of time following protocols, department by department due to its size.

I just checked their site and found out that the e-store is under construction.

Let me also add that I would prefer something that will give money when done now. Not a case of blogging, amazon niche that will take me months to reap the rewards.
