Are You Offering Your Business Services Offline?

Hi,

Just thought I would share something I had a lot of fun doing earlier this year and that was selling web page ranking services to local brick and mortar companies, mainly Real Estate companies.

This method is best done with Google Hangouts because you can rank very fast on the front page of Google with video using Google Hangouts.

Step 1

Choose a local offline NICHE. Here are a couple to get you started

Lawyers
Chiropractors
Doctors
Vending Machine Companies
Real Estate Agencies
Construction Agencies
Etc.

Step 2

Download a list of buyer keyword phrases, you can find a bunch of them all over the internet.

Step 3

Start streaming videos using Google Hangouts with the buyer keywords in the title and description. I use the video to talk about what ever the companies services are, and I also include the companies phone number.

Step 4

After you do that contact the company via phone call (preferred method) or email and let them know you ranked a video on the front page of Google for their company. You want to make sure to say "Hey I ranked a video with your companies information on it, and I will let you keep the spot of $50" or you can choose whatever amount you want I just had alot of success with keeping the amount around $50 - $60, and if you really want to push the envelope tell them if they are not interested you will sell the spot to a competitor (this is very effective).

Step 5

Rinse and repeat and do not give up if you get turned down after a few tries. If you keep working on this everyday you can bring in a couple of extra hundreds of dollars a month.

Wouldn't there be legal issues involved in this?

Some businesses might feel their brand is being eroded through spammy practices.

    What do you think?

I thought Google was closing its doors for "hangouts"

but it seems it's still going...

be careful 'how' you promote your client's business....

They each have an image they want to project. I'm just saying it doesn't hurt to double check!

Your services to offline businesses that want to improve and manage their online presence. As more public search for the services they need online, offline businesses know they need to be there. However, few understand how to do a fine job leveraging their online presence. You can offer your expertise in organization websites, driving traffic, search engine optimization, social media, blogging, and other vital areas.the only trouble is that the sell is getting more and more glutted with public claiming to be online consultants. Some claim expertise but merely wing it. Its easy to contact offline businesses and convince them they need to be online.

Great idea! I don't see anything wrong with this at all. If a company wants you to take down their video, just take it down. (Not spammy, is what I'm saying.)

I know people who do something like this but they usually talk to the business first.

And instead of getting a $50 one off fee they use this method to prove to the business owner they have skills and then they sell much more sophisticated package of services at $250 to $1,500+ a month.

Selling to one client once is really a wasted opportunity.

All the work is in getting that first sale. Once you've started that relationship and got them to pay you, you can sell them multiple services.

You can also get them to refer you to other businesses who will pay for your services.

    Kindest regards,
