Setting up inbound call center

I currently run a call center for home and auto insurance. Lately the agents have tightened what they are looking for, some no renters, no farms, etc. and wont raise rates. Very hard to get leads many days and we are stagnating.

So looking to convert to real call center with inbound calls for larger companies. Does anyone know the best way to do that especially with the holiday season here. Looking for both seasonal and none seasonal campaigns...US and Canada only.

Thank you.

A "real call center" does this mean in and outbound? And can I assume you only do outbound now for the Insurance industry?

Inbound, you need to let us know a little bit more, because...

there are several different kinds. Will you be taking orders? Processing credit cards? Doing upsells, downsells or any cross selling going on?

Is it for leads only, and then, from those responding to insurance ads?

Will be offering information, or how to, or giving help desk type instruction?

Don't want to assume anything here, but if you are simply trying to get more leads for your current customers, and you will be doing the advertising for them, then a different type of "real" call center is needed, and you might already have what you need.

So, perhaps, we can give you a little bit more help, but help us help you. Here in Akron, OH, we are home to Infocision Stadium, home of the U of Akron ROOS...and built from donations given to U of A by one of the most successful telemarketers in the world. Can't swing a dead kitty without hitting someone who works for Infocision. Check out their web site, and Gary Taylor is THE man when it comes to phone use.

Since, to be able to do anything more in insurance, you have to be licensed and we dont wish to get into advertising at the moment as we would have to do that for other regions of the country, we wish to avoid that.

This would entail having incoming calls for customer service if needed, order taking according to the clients,, etc. and it would be in a different fields than we work in now, for smaller businesses that need someone to handle their help desk, customer service as i mentioned, order taking, etc, or larger companies that have a great deal of business coming in and need more help.

Been trying to check some of the bigger telelmarketing forums, and even googling how to find lists of these types of businesses. Does anyone know how to do that?

      Thank you

      Please reread the post.
I already have a call center up and running. You do not provide any answers, just writing to boost your post count. If you dont have a legitimate answer to the question do not respond. It just makes you look foolish.

Try Hqoffshore they are performance based, in other words they only charge you per qualified lead delivered.
