You can't get a great domain name through suggestion. Great domain is expensive commodity.

Just use the registrar's domain name search box to get and register one of those available wacky $10 domains since you are not ready to acquire a premium domain.

It depends on what 'great domains' mean for you.

If it means throwing away lots of money, no I'm not ready, and I never will.

Who knows, suggestions from other experienced marketers could bring an ah-ha moment.. you know..

That's true! I remember spending hours on web colours on my first website built with a web platform on my hosting account good memories though but funny now.

Beyond any SEO implications, you want to avoid dashes and hard to spell words. Keep it as short as possible. Try to find a .com domain name. Imagine your domain name being read over the radio some day and somebody trying to remember it later.

However, I would think that this question is more about what you want to name your company and create an effective brand. Make sure that any name that you pick isn't trademarked already in your country.

This domain name generator is good...

The Best Domain Name Generator Ever: Impossibility!

Another way to come up with one is to
observe patterns in others in your industry.

I helped a friend do this for his jewelry line.

I noted most have founders names like Tiffanys
and Walker & Hall.

We came up with two names joined together that were short and sticky.

Ad agencies have used their founder's name.

If you don't like to use your name, make it up.

Bragg & Brown is a starter for you.

I believe this is the best advice given by a member of this forum for choosing a domain name. I also played around with the tool he suggested and it turns out to be a good domain name generator.

You can have dabk.com.

WDWichita.com, if you're in Wichita... If you're not in Wichita, put your city name there. Also, feel free to replace WD with any other 2 consonants that are easy to say one after the other... RRWichita.com...

You're making too hard in my opinion.

Go with your initials is another way... And I still think you're making it too hard.

when i'm running out of interesting names, i take a random consonant, random vowel, repeat, repeat - so I get 6 letters. Plenty of random domains available like that which are pronounceable and therefore brandable.
