So I've thinking about outside the box ideas for offline marketing. Yesterday I created a website and a Twitter page. Nothing has been done to market them besides placing a handful of sticky notes around town. The notes are like, "Hi. Check out _____!" and lead people to the website which is just a one pager with a link to the Twitter page.
Sticky note marketing... Does it work?

I am going to try this for a month as an experimental brand awareness concept. No other marketing, backlinks, nothing.
Anyone else ever used sticky notes/Post-it notes for something like this?
