Do you use the same phone number for all cold calls?

Do people ever do it by area? Or do they stick to one only?

From the people that i know off.

It's bad to use the same number for cold calling as there are people who block unknown # or international #'s.

What PPC ( Pay per Call ) marketers do is that they use # by area / city or state.

What area are you calling from?

What areas are you calling to?

Can't answer your questions without some additional information.

I'm calling from Canada to the United States. There is no specific area I have to call in the states, it is just anywhere. I figured that people would be unwilling to return a call to a number in another country or even not their own area.

If you want them to call back, I'd get an 800 number in the US.
But if you aren't looking for call backs..I'd sure take a call from Canada. In fact, if you just start the call with "This is Bob Jones, calling from Canada..." that should get you right through in many cases.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

That just proves how sad and lonely you are.

I've always had success using just one when starting out, but I feel that people would block your number especially if you're calling repeatedly and they already said no.
