
Getting people on board for free... now how to get a fee?
I'm having success getting financial services professionals to take me on for a free lead generation funnel buildout. My numbers are roughly:
For 100 messages sent out
13 responses
10 show interest
8 schedule a phone call
5 take me on
2 actually fill out my questions and we get going on the buildout
Currently I have 3 people who I'm actively working with, all for free in exchange for a testimonial. I'm thinking of ways to convert my freebie clients into paid gigs. I may just put them into a list that receives regular requests for referrals, perhaps along with an incentive.
I know free isn't the ideal place to start, but getting ANY response at all has always been my sticking point. Do you guys see any way to convert this current process into a money maker? Or am I better off doing something else entirely to attract paid clients?
