Best certificates to get for sales and Tele sales.

13 replies
Hi and thanks for checking this one out. I'm sure in The future ill really get into contributing on this site more as I love this stuff. Had a question real quick if it's alright. I was wondering what the best organisations and certificates they offer on the web one may get for sales and also particularly telesales. Thanks if you've got the down low on this stuff.

I've got great education and experience in these areas but would like to go even further and get a certificate or 2. Thx!

    Sean;

    There are no certifications or degrees in selling.

    All the certificates that matter are in specific businesses that require a license, like life insurance.

    But no college is going to give you training in selling that will prepare you in any way. Great salespeople simply don't teach in institutions.

    There are no degrees you can put on your wall to show accomplished in selling.

    You get sales awards for production.....those are your degrees.

    All the certificates offered by sales trainers are literally a piece of paper stating that you paid them a lot of money for training. nobody would view them as valuable.

    Sorry.

    Just a little confused, in that if you had great education and experience would you not know the answers to your own questions in this and your other post ?

    Anyways don't worry I'm already a sales superstar and my career advisor tells me I'm capable of more than 400,000.000 year jobs out there. I'm just doing more high profile stuff right now. But yesr I wouldn't know the best certificates out there. Because I simply started right off being superstar and the best in the whole company. But don't try to act like the school of all schools won't help you like Harvard that is. I've found some good certificates now that or classrd from Harvard,
    Like negotiolation mastery that look good on a resume. I grew up a social super genius is why I just thrived at it and hadn't heard of the best program for it out there. I'm cool now thank you very much.

    Don't seek validation from others. If you know you're good, that's all that matters.

    There is no "certificate" for telesales. With that being said, I have made a career out of training "telesales" individuals. I am taking on 17 more this coming Monday.

    If you want some best practices I can help you. If you are looking for a special certificate... you will get that from the school of hard knocks unfortunately. Your results from the job will be your certificate. Employers don't want to know "what you know". They want to know how you will perform.

    I have a sales training program that's been teaching people how to make and take calls (ie. outbound and inbound) since 2012, but it doesn't certify you. I think certification is a bit pompous in this field, especially as one person's style may be completely different from another.

    The key thing here is for you to get a consistent sales process running that matches your personality. There are several different styles so do your research.
