Calculation of CRR (Customer Retention Rate) by each Department Store
I'd like to calculate CRR (Customer Retention Rate) by each Department Store.
Question:
- Is it a correct way of calculation? (an example based on 2 clients is below)
- If a client become "lost" will it mean that he will be "lost" for each department store or only for the last one where he's made his last purchase?
Example:
ClientID Date Sales Department Store
1; 2018-01-01; 1000; Store_2
1; 2018-01-03; 500; Store_1
2; 2018-01-29; 100; Store_1
"Lost" client - who hasn't bought more than 10 days from today (2018-01-30);
CRR = 1 - ( Lost / Start) * 100
Store Start New Lost CRR, %
Store_2; 1; 1; 1; 0,0%
Store_1; 2; 1 ; 1; 50,0%
