Most lucrative niches for lead generation

Hi. I am a web designer that is getting into lead generation through either rank and rent websites or selling leads from a ranked website. I plan to do on page SEO to rank a website. I do not know enough about off page SEO to do that but my town is not very small nor is it big so there is not much competition for many types of businesses in my area so I think I will be able to rank websites easily enough locally.

For those of you that have done lead generation for local businesses what niches have you found to be the most lucrative for you? I figure businesses that have a high profit amount per sale would be the best but I was hoping to get a list of a few niches that people have had good experience with. Niches where they make good money per sale so they can afford to pay higher for leads and those that you have found to be most receptive to paying for leads.

Any thoughts or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi
I havent been on this forum for a long time, hence my late reply. I have been doing PC ( Adwords / bing ) for 8 years now and imo local niche is not where the money is. I hope you are doing well with it if you have started but why go local only when there is a big country / world out there.
    Good luck with it all

Because it's a viable business model that offers many opportunities that would be impossible to implement when dealing with a worldwide customer/client base.

My entire working life was spent catering to local businesses. I highly recommend it.

I very much agree with you Optedin. Local is a huge thing now, what with Google My Business and Facebook local. Not to mention all the other local listing businesses. If people want to find something locally then they will pick up their phones and Google it. There is good business to be had with the right niche.

The higher the ticket, the higher the commish, No?

So, cosmetic surgery is at the top. Help them find ugly people to fix. They will pay you well and the ugly will thank you too.

Cosmetic dentists, life insurance salesmen to the wealthy, financial planners,

Search your neck of the woods for the affluent, use Google maps see what high ticket items are there, give them a call. GET them leads, make the dough, easy peasy like.

    HIGH ticket gives high commissions.

Anything with law/dentistry. But it's competitive

Home contractors are also good. Not cheap to add a room or even fix any part of the plumbing on a home.

Landcaping and pool contractors are big buck industries

The average "sale is between $2500-$25000 - and they need customers just like everyone else. Lot less competition too.

Attractive lead generation niches generally have many of the following characteristics:

Deep pool of well-funded lead buyers
High value of converted lead to buyers
High volume of search traffic (as opposed to reliance of personal recommendations)
Below are some of the largest lead generation niches out there, along with examples of each:
    Mortgage & Real Estate
    Matchmaking
    Senior Care / Assisted Living

The most lucrative will also be the most competitive in the long run.

Most of these posts may as well be asking "me shoot b-ball how me make money like Lebron in NBA?"
