Is there some local Fiverr with real people, no VA?

Hi,

do you know if there is some platform like Fiverr for microservices, but for local offline real people, no online VA?
The most tasks I have must be done in real world locally, and the online tasks are also better explained in person, so I am looking for local people only.

I would pay 2 or 3 times as much as on Fiverr, but local freelancers want 10 times as much and they dont take micro orders.

And with local student assistants there is a problem, they are looking for part time job, not microservices, it means they are expecting tens of hours of work every month.

    I think you need to adjust expectations.



    A freelancer has to set up for a micro order just the same as for any other freelance job. Can you consolidate the work so it could be done in X hours once a week or X hrs twice a month?



    If you can't find people on Fiverr will to do a small job - the job must VERY small. Sounds like you may have to pay more or do those small tasks yourself. Any way to automate them?

    As the others have said put a few batches together. Try Craigslist if you are in the US, as a gig. Be willing to pay $15.00 hours for a couple hours worth of work. Or a one shot deal at $25.00 - $50 for a task or two if you want any type of response.

    I have mostly 5 - 10 gigs per month, USD 30 - 60 each, sometimes more. Do you think I can get somebody for these gigs? But I cannot put them all together, maybe 3 to 5 gigs, each USD 100. I dont want one universal assistant.
    This is good about fiverr, where I can find people really good in design or marketing or content writing. I would need something like this, but for offline gigs. There is no universal assistant good for all gigs.
    Do you think there is some hope for me?

    Its also not one shot, sometimes there would be long term cooperation, sometimes short term, sometimes only one gig.

    Fiverr offers such great deals because people are in different parts of the world where the cost of living varies greatly, as well as the exchange rate. I've lived overseas, and I understand that quite well.

    Paying 15 bucks to someone on Fiverr can be like $200 to someone living in say, the US. You can therefore, get some pretty high quality work through Fiverr (but you still need to choose your vendor carefully).

    I don't know what country you are in, but if you are in the US, you have to expect to be charged a rate applicable earning a fair wage. If you expect to pay 2 or 3 times as Fiverr, you are going to get sub-standard work. If you go local, you get what you pay for.

      You did read the part he wants to meet them in person...

      To the OP I read your most decent post are you in the US ? A $100.00 should work if you can post on Craigslist. If not find a local community bullentin board in your area aand post there.
