Are phone calls ESSENTIAL when you're in the B2B sector?

Can a non-native English speaker sell his advertising services (B2B) via cold emailing without ever needing to make a call? He would completely rely on the written word to make sales. Would he succeed?

I'm willing to sell PPC services to gym owners& personal trainers.

Try it out or just forget about it and go selling my services on Fiverr?

You need to find local marketing agencies in the USA and reach out to them.

These people do PPC for local companies and they will not care that your English isn't perfect but will value being able to sub work out to you.

Also industry specific agencies is the USA as well. Stay away from New York City and LA.

Hi, DABK. Thank you for replying.

Shall I post valuable content that position myself as the expert on the services I provide or simply cold approach them with a sales copy?

Even if they show any kind of interest, will I EVER need to make a phone convo with them? Or merely using the written word to communicate? I'm a non-native English speaker, I won't be able to talk with them via the phone.

Would offering an irresistible offer increase my conversion rates WITHOUT making a phone call?

Set your funnels so the ones that want to talk self-select themselves out. The ones that hire you, then, will not be expecting to talk.

You can purchase a $2,000 sofa without talking to anyone, why can't you purchase $2,000 services?

I mean, you get a photo of the sofa, you get specs, you get delivery time, costs.

Providing the same things for a service will get many to purchase.

I have purchased marketing services without talking to the seller... Their website made everything clear.

I would have testimonials and reviews and other 'proof' that I know what I'm doing.

It depends on the industry. I work in high-ticket finance software so we take an account-based marketing approach. Low volume lead generation but we focus on quality leads and converting targeted companies.

Simply put, a phone call can be either effective or ineffective depending on how good your sales reps are of course. The intent of good marketing is to nurture leads so that when a phone call does occur, they are ready for sales conversations.

Surely if you're selling advertising services, you could use the same services to advertise your own services.

Plenty of trade associations you could JV with to get your message out there...

Google Ads use different ways to advertige Google Ads

      To topicstarter.

You can sell your services without calls. How do you support your services?
To attract local ppc agencies you need to create a specific business model. You aren't Bing or Google.

I'm sure you're right. There are enough agencies out there that sell PPC that a large number of them must be actively looking for sub contractors in cheap locals.

Wouldn't it be harder to do a JV with a trade association then just finding agencies that want to outsource in his situation?

There ain't nothing better than a JV...!

Outsourcing may be an option for the OP, however, IMHO that's really nothing more than disguised employee. And the agency won't be impressed if the OP steals their clients and will certainly have a contractual obligation against such behaviour.

OK, the agency/agencies may be the OP's clients, but still too much control in the agency's hands. OP would not have much choice as to which clients they're handed. If agency has their own staff, they'll get the cream, OP gets what's left.

And, of course, outsourcing is a form of JV anyway.

With a JV the OP is building their own client list to which they can choose who they deal with and can sell other services (if they're smart enough). OP is in control. They set the rules.

There are many places where he can offer his PPC services (for eg: on forums related to digital marketing, in Facebook groups, on freelance sites, etc..) He does not necessarily need to make phone calls. Since English is not his first language, I would advise that he gets someone to help him with his copywriting/ad copy. If there is compelling ad copy in place, and it receives targeted traffic, conversions/sales should follow.

I saw cases where people close deals just over email, but in most cases (like 90%+) people close over the phone.

You don't have to worry about being a non-native English speaker. If you can speak normally without stopping every word - you'll be okay.

Make sure that you have case studies and testimonials ready because after all, they won't care that much about your accent if your results are awesome.

No. But, that's what exactly I intend to do.
