I Feel It Needs To Be Said…

Relying on Facebook or Google
for your income is bad.

Recently Rich Schfren got together with
his internet marketing buddies and held
a 24 hour marathon on supposedly how to fix the problem big tech companies have caused the little guy.

Good intentions.

Bad advice.

If you rely on a media that rigs a game against you, knowing it going in, then you are the one to blame.

Over and out.

Seems so many things that 'need to be said' should have been common sense in the first place. Now it 'needs to be heard' but I wonder sometimes if that happens.

    • The common sense is that people don't normally know that these sites manipulate your potential views. This is starting to work against them. But being the titans that they are, they will continue to shift the dirt in their yards around.
  • Creating a "Common Enemy" is a fairly common persuasion technique. Frankly, I would be very surprised if you've never done it in copy you've written.

  • Look. What You are saying is 100% true. You better not relying on Google and Facebook only. Especially if We take into consideration that both platforms are very-very restrictive.

And DO NOT rely on SEO only neither!!! What You should actually all of Us do is to rely on Paid Traffic but We must extend the circle of Paid Traffic Sources whether ot is Twitter or Linkedlin Ads, Native advertising or PPV advertising, etc. It depends on Your Offer and actually Your Sales-Marketing funnel.
  • Hee hee! They could both disappear tomorrow and I wouldn't feel a thing.

    I would miss Gmail though!

  • I also believe relying totally on Google or Facebook is not good.
You have to use the other methods to target like PPC and generating brand awareness through ads.
