Dan Kennedy event

What is Dan Kennedy's 'status'? Several blogs listed him as deceased as of 7 months ago - others have 'tributes' - while here and elsewhere it's 'he's recovering'.


Amazon lists him as an 'existing author'....can you enlighten? Maybe I missed an announcement.



I've had several emails that clearly are from list where the person hasn't thought to update...and have notice quite a few paid ads that seem out of touch.

I think some new 'leaders in online business' will emerge due to this crisis. While I see many businesses flailing around a bit I've found several that have adapted quickly.


Chewy.com is a site I use for an auto-ship of pet supplies every 6 weeks. Like many big retailers many of their emails/update are automated - but they added another layer and advised of any delays. In the end my order came only three days later than expected.



I've been to several sites that have added popups with discounts if you leave the site - have also had coupon codes sent by several sites I routinely shop from. These are 20-35% discounts - far more than these sites would usually offer. I would think businesses with both large off and online presence will be adding incentives for online sales to maintain some cash flow.



Some business leaders are leading - adapting - finding ways to get sales in a very down market. Other are sending routine emails, promoting events that surely won't happen - and running paid ads for public 'gatherings'/concerts/etc.

Texas was very slow in publicizing self-quarantine. Perhaps the event marketers are a little optimistic?

I live in San Antonio, Texas and they have closed the Malls. I like a cruise, but for many that would be a terrible prize to win. That event is going to be cancelled most likely.
