FIVVER IS NOW ADVERTISING ON TV??? WTF???

Ya know, google still used direct mail.
I'm posting this so that you know... online advertising and marketing is fine, but TV, and direct mail... old fashioned, I know... still has some power. If you know how to use 'em.

You can get the mailing list of folks who are 91 days late on a credit card.
... and the list of Boardroom reports.
... and the list of folks who've bought an income opportunity.
Many lists available.
Don't get stuck competing with thousands of others who are hawking the same thing to facebook.
Ain't it funny that fivver is on TV... as well as godaddy.
Just thinking.

The costs for TV advertising has been an dropping steadily for many years. On some cable TV channels you can get a spot for as low as $30.

I remember getting direct mail pieces from Google about 10 years ago for their service on Google TV, which allows practically anyone to create TV spots within their AdWords account and run them on national cable TV.

Back then I think cable TV spots were going for about $20 per ad. Affiliate programs such as Clickbank, Amazon, CJ, etc have been doing quite well on cable channels which can target specific demographics (and still are).

i regularly get offers for Google PPC ads by mail. My experience is, the more different media you use to market the more each media pays you. Ads reinforce other ads.

I've seen TV spots for several Internet startups.

And heard radio spots for make-money-online sites.

Doesn't surprise me in the least that Fiverr has jumped on the bandwagon.

Hold on there bucky... you can't sell just anything on TV. Most TV advertising is a miserable failure when measuring COST PER LEAD and COST PER SALE.

The Sock Puppet, selling what... some pet store... was a failure.

The singing grapes... selling california raisins was a failure.

Almost all the superbowl ads, were failures, when measuring cost per sale.

Right now... there is that body-building wrestler, Jim something, and his purple cow, trying to sell you on improving your credit score with "Experian Boooooost"

I know marketing well enough to tell you, it's crap. The only reason they are spending so much money on that TV ad, is they are tied in to the central bankers who are desperate to get more people loaded up on debt. And the central bankers get their cash off the printing press from fools who borrow at interest.

The TV ads that work are generally late night TV ads, selling something direct.

Ginzu knives, invent help, George Forman grills, etc.

The only way to get more sales out of a TV ad, is to put MORE SELL into the ad.

      Just thinking.

Cable TV is very inexpensive especially in small markets, and can be targeted by demographics or ethnicity through a wide variety of channels available. I've also had success with "cable crawls", that scrolling text you see at the bottom of the screen. These are some of the most affordable media ads you can purchase.

TV advertising still works, it's a good show-and-tell medium. For basic consumer products expecially - that's where Dollar Shave Club started. Insurance companies must also find it productive, as much as they use it.

Santa Barbara? I used to live there. In the 70's through to the 90's. I miss it.

You're right - George Foreman grills sold tons of them on TV. The problem is most of the ad suck, as do most of the products. 'Super Beets" Who the heck would buy beets? ?
