Anyone have success with one of the biggest Marketing trends in 2021? I want to learn how it works and what's the best text messaging service provider to use?

It may be a 'big marketing trend' but what I see it used for is pure spam ads.

If you try it, let us know how it works for you. Maybe I'm missing the 'good part' but the only text message marketing I've seen in my area is spam with bit.ly links...

Should we be sending the texts to the only opt-in list? Email is fine but text can be intrusive.

Email marketing is fine, I feel you should only send SMS with people's consent. Do you know how annoying it is to see pop-up texts on your screen? so annoying. Stick to email marketing

SMS is something that's seen as personal, and it feels intrusive whenever I receive unsolicited text messages.

I get a lot of them. The only ones that are not intrusive are the ones from my dentist, reminding me an appointment is coming up; the ones from my insurance company telling me they are going to charge my monthly in 3 days.

Maybe, if you want to make money with sms, is to set up dentists, restaurants, etc. with sms marketing.

Sms marketing for marketers just seems hard.

Most of the ones I get are scams...claiming to be from amazon (they aren't ) of that I've won a prize or that I can lose 17 lbs in 3 days (I would look like a skeleton).

When my bank and credit union both began sending the text with 'reply with 'yes' to receive regular acct notices' I replied with 'stop'. I know how to check my own accts.

My surgeon and his medical team are permitted but since I'm pretty much over it now...those will be gone, too. For me, text is for family and friends ...not a back door for advertisers.

There is a bigger issue here that is seldom mentioned. When you are planning an ad campaign it can't be only about what you are capable of doing.... For a truly successful campaign you must be able to engage those who see your ads....if you are forcing the ads on people, that won't happen.
