How Do I Get Free Clients For Experience

I'm trying to actually apply now what I learned on Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) on real accounts to get experience to put on my resume. How do I propose to local businesses my free offer to do their google ads campaign?

You gain a lot of credibility if you use what you're selling to get clients...

As for free, you may well find that "free" works against you... unless you can give a compelling reason, that the prospect cares about, for offering "free". Have the cojones to ask for some money...

Who do you know in business? Tell them about your skills. Ask if they know anyone who'd be interested... Or ask them to review your sales pitch...

One of our recent recruits told his barber what he was doing and his barber told all his (the barber's) business customers resulting in a steady ongoing stream of prospects...

animal44 is right... If you have skills, put them to work and earn! It's not a secret and certainly not new that FREE is perceived as less value. Are you on Fiverr already?
There are plenty of people who search for help with Google Ads. You start there with cheap gigs and build a portfolio. The results with clients there will be your best advertisement to show to local businesses. Who takes serious a resume when you can't show what you've already done?

    Animal is right.

If you came to me with your free offer, I'd think you're an idiot.

    Your offer is not free.

You're not charging a fee, but I still have to pay Google for the ads. If the ads do not perform, I'm out of a good chunk of money. Which I could have used on proven ways to advertise. So, your free offer is a loser to me.

    Now, if you said,

DABK, Your Most Illustrious Highness, I want to bring you clients at no cost to you. I propose to spend $300 on Google ads. If you get any clients, I want a glowing recommendation from you. If you get none, we part ways, and you are not out one penny,

If you said that, I'd say Hmmmm, and rub my chin with my left index and thumb.

Why do I not say, Yes?

Because, though interested in finding a new way of getting clients for free, I still have to be sure you and your ads do not misrepresent me.

So, once I rub my chin, you jump in with:

You approve all the ads, everything before it goes live.

    Now, you've got me.

If you get me clients you get your glowing review. If your cost per client matches mine or, oh me, comes below what I pay, you got yourself a new client.
