Not seeing option to place 1st review in GMB?

Hey guys, bud of mine has a new site and last month had set up the google local business account. I tried typing "xyz.com" in google but the usual Business Profile does not show up on the right side of google page in the SERP's listing. Also, when I click on Reviews inside his Google Business Profile Manager it is showing "This feature is not available for this listing". Then too when I click on Insights, it is showing that same thing, any ideas please?

    Sounds like your bud did not verify with Google their business. Did they get the postcard?

    Is your bud an instructor of some type? If this is the case, Google turns off reviews. The other issue may be that there is a duplicate listing? If they are using an address type the address in Google to see if more than one listing appears.

    If you do not have an address listed, I would insert it and see if things change in a few days, if they do change, i would then go back and remove the address and use the proximity setting.

    If that fails... I would go here: ( https://support.google.com/business/...#topic=4596754 ) and contact support about the issue
