This is a mixed bag question, promoting labor based services is very different than offering how to information for starters. But here is one guy:

    https://www.kingofpressurewash.com/b...shing-business

Which took me 5 seconds to find via google. Anyhow...with local labor jobs, that is, if you are DOING as your side hustle, first and foremost are referrals. Nothing beats a satisfied customer.

Flyers (fliers for you sp.fanatics) and ones with seasonal or time limited offers targeted to specific neighborhoods has been proven to be successful, as well as door to door solicitations. Depending on what it is that you DO.

Selling ANY information, is target dependent, WHO is looking for such information. With rare jobs, these might require an unusual skill set or some qualifier, so you would offer the HOW TO info to that group of people.

Do you have any specific questions? What is it you are trying to get from us?

The more we have specific questions, the better the answers are going to be.

Co-op advertising works for many, as does attending local EVENTS with an event only offer.

Maybe, EDDM, from USPS might be useful, if you learn how to use it properly.

Social media and Google my business are probably musts do today, to stay competitive, although every SIDE HUSTLE has its own unique points to highlight. For example, cleaning headlights is a good side hustle, and leaving little stick it notes on cars with foggy lights has worked, so it can be simple, depending, again, on what you are DOing.

In my area (small towns and small cities) there are several FB groups for each town..and lawn care, day care, handypersons, etc etc - promote on those pages. Because the groups are local it is assumed the 'side hustles' are also local. Joining similar groups might be a place to start.

My ducks are absolutely not in a row. I don't even know where some of them are...
...and I'm pretty sure one of them is a pigeon.
